Visit the ancient Lycian city Olympos, ruined in 75 B.C.E. and later occupied by the Romans. You will see amazing deep green trees, high mountains, sparkling streams, the vast blue sea, and the enchanting beauty of a deep history of thousands of people. South of the city is an ancient theatre that can hold 8,000 people that still stands today in a marvelous condition. Other ancient ruins near the city of Olympos are the remains of a Roman bath house and the remains of a Byzantine Church with rectangular architecture and wide arched windows.
